Benesom Review

Benesom®, is a proprietary formulation, designed with the aim of facilitating a tranquil and serene state while alleviating sporadic instances of sleeplessness. Its mechanism of action involves advantageous modulation of melatonin metabolism and facilitation of relaxation, to help with occasional sleeplessness. Metagenics tends to market direct to partitioners which then sell their products to their patients. This is why you cannot typically find this product in most stores but it is available to be purchased directly from them.

Benesom Ingredients

Bensom leans heavily on Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis). This herb is also known as Baikal Skullcap, and is a traditional Chinese herb that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. While it is primarily known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, it is also believed to have sleep-enhancing effects.

Chinese Skullcap may interact with certain medications, particularly those that are metabolized by liver enzymes. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional or pharmacist if you are taking any medications before using Chinese Skullcap as a sleep aid.

This formula also utilizes Passionflower, Melissa Lemon Balm, Valerian, Melatonin and a few other popular ingredients.

Benesom Side Effects

Benesom is a gentle formula and does not appear to have any side effects. The company is known for producing products with very high purity.

Chinese Skullcap can potentially lower blood pressure so it is important make sure you review the ingredients with your doctor as you should with any new supplement you may begin using.

Does Benesom Work?

Benesom is a decent formula that should produce decent results for occasional sleeplessness. We appreciate that it is non-GMO, gluten free, and vegetarian. We do wish it used some of the more advanced and newer ingredients on the market. It also does not appear to be a slow release formula which can help people who have trouble staying asleep throughout the night. Overall its worth a try but there may be more well rounded formulas available on the market.
