Sleep Support Review

Sleep Support, is a product claiming to provide natural support for sleep. Sleep Support combines a blend of ingredients, including Ashwagandha, Hops, Passion Flower, Valerian Root, Magnesium, Melatonin, Glycine, L-Theanine, and L-Tryptophan. The manufacturer suggests that this unique formulation promotes deep, restful sleep and helps you wake up feeling refreshed and revitalized. However, it is important to approach such claims with a skeptical mindset and consider the scientific evidence behind them.

Sleep Support Ingredients

Sleep Support has an extremely low amount of Melatonin. It is also unclear if that melatonin is micronized or not? The very low dosage of quality proven Melatonin may have an impact on the performance of this product for some people.

Also, this formula uses L-Tryptophan which is a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in regulating mood and sleep. However, the conversion of L-Tryptophan to serotonin is a complex process influenced by various factors such as competition with other amino acids for transport across the blood-brain barrier. As a result, the amount of L-Tryptophan that successfully converts to serotonin may be limited, potentially diminishing its sleep-promoting effects.

Sleep Support Side Effects

There are a few ingredients to be aware of when making your decision:

It is important to note that Magnesium citrate can have a gentle laxative effect which may not be wanted. Magnesium is a good sleep supplement but there may be better forms available.

Ashwagandha is generally well-tolerated. However, high doses may cause digestive upset, including nausea, diarrhea, or an upset stomach. In rare cases, it may also cause drowsiness, headache, or allergic reactions in some individuals.

Does Sleep Support Work?

For some people, support may work well. It's a fairly balanced formula with mostly good ingredients but some that we’re a little wary of. There is no mention of whether this formula uses a slow release technology which is one of the most important features to look for if you have issues staying asleep throughout the night. This product may be worth testing out if you’re looking for a product with low levels of Melatonin.
